About the event.
The 12th will highlight all the work that has been done in Bradford over the last 5 years to improve outcomes for children and young people. We will be using the event to transition from the existing Department for Education scheme (the Opportunity Area) to its new incarnation – the Alliance for Life Chances partnership. We wish to celebrate the opportunities created by Bradford becoming the City of Culture in 2025 and the 7-year funding provided by the Wellcome Trust for the Age of Wonder project (the largest study of adolescence in the world – involving over 30,000 young people).
