From school, I have always had an interest in STEM careers, and was able to explore this further during my undergraduate degree industry year with Digital Makers and as Presisdent of the Leeds Extended Reality Society. Now, as a Psychology graduate, working for the University of Leeds, I have combined my passion for research with my interest in immersive and emerging technologies, looking at how we can train doctors and nursing using extended reality. I’m looking forward to a future in STEM as I hope to embark on a PhD in neuroscience in September!
I have always been inspired by some awesome women in STEM, and I hope we can all continue to empower each other to pursue our passions. By sharing our own journeys, we can inspire the next generation of STEM leaders and game changers, to push the boundaries of what we think is possible!
