Women in STEM Bradford

This year, to commemorate International Women’s Day and in conjunction with local businesses, we are organizing ‘Women in STEM Bradford’ at the University of Bradford – in order to promote STEM opportunities among female students and to help them strive towards their aspirations. Our ambition is to produce an effect on our community by giving these young women the aptitude and tools necessary for achieving their goals, in order to close the gap in employment and gender, while also fostering an all-inclusive environment.
Girls in Years 9 – 11 will be invited to ask pre-planned questions to a small number of women from STEM businesses and the University.
This will be followed by a careers fair, where students can find out more information about achieving their aspirations within STEM and have the opportunity to ask further questions.
