We’re excited to share what we’ve been up to these past few months — This autumn, we launched Threads of Belonging, a creative wellbeing project exploring what it means to belong within our communities.
Thanks to funding from Innovate UK: DCMS Create Growth Programme Competition 4 (Small Projects), we’ve been able to bring people together through a series of workshops that combine visual storytelling, textile design, coding, and fabric art.
In each session, participants have been using creativity to explore identity, place, and shared experience. From hand-stitching memories into fabric to experimenting with digital design, every workshop has been filled with openness and new connections.
As Threads of Belonging continues through November and December, we’ll be sharing more from behind the scenes — including reflections, artwork, and stories from participants.
